Kathryn came to painting late in her creative life. In 2017, she moved to France with her partner and dedicated herself to this new direction. Inspired by the local landscape and culture, Kathryn developed a series of paintings referencing her emotional and spiritual responses to this beautiful area.

On her return to Cambridgeshire in 2020, she continued to develop her painting practice in response to the landscape and flora of her birthplace (Fen Ditton). She worked from a studio hidden in her wild English garden and, through her painting, discovered the secrets of the garden and the varied landscapes of Cambridgeshire.

Sadly, Kathryn, aged 60, passed away on 4 March 2023.
